Our Approach

To tackle the systemic root causes of racial and social disparities, RJ Squared partners with professionals and organizations using targeted strategies. Our approach is grounded in an adapted Ecological Model of Behavior Change, designed specifically to foster transformative practice.

Our primary strategy area is capacity building through professional learning, development, and coaching. RJ Squared designed the Critical Foundations of Reproductive Justice (RJ) program, delivered through two modalities: an intensive 2-day in-person workshop and a flexible, 3-part asynchronous online module. While training serves as individual professional development, we highly encourage organizational teams to participate together to build a shared foundation for transformative practice.

Our second strategic focus centers on partnering with organizations to evaluate their existing policies and practices, ensuring deep alignment with the tenets of Reproductive Justice (RJ). These comprehensive assessments are designed to analyze organizational culture, uncover specific opportunities for growth, and provide a strategic roadmap for initiatives that cultivate a more equitable environment for historically marginalized groups.

For our third strategy, we build community capacity and champion policy development rooted in RJ. We are dedicated to achieving deep structural change by uniting diverse sectors in ongoing efforts to uplift and support historically excluded communities.
